We are looking for an experienced "Cyber Security Engineer" to secure cloud infrastructure, applications, data, and underlying operating systems.
Responsibilities:
- Implement a comprehensive security framework encompassing software vulnerability scanning, penetration testing, and the establishment of security policies (best practices) across network, application and deployment infrastructure.
- Implementing security throughout the software development and deployment lifecycle (SDLC), encompassing the implementation, build, and delivery phases.
- Implement and configure cloud-based security scanner tools to proactively detect vulnerabilities and leverage operating system-specific security practices to harden underlying infrastructure.
- Continuously stay up-to-date on zero-day security threats, DevSecOps tools, operating system vulnerabilities, and security best practices.
- Participate in incident response planning and execution, specific to cloud environments.
- Assess the security risk of identified vulnerabilities and provide reports for threat findings and mitigations.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in cybersecurity, with a focus on penetration testing, software security assessments, and network security.
- Experience with vulnerability scanners and applying security patches to address discovered vulnerabilities for automating security tasks.
- Experience with Linux environments.
- Experience with security concepts in containerized environments like Docker and Kubernetes.
- Understanding cloud security principles, including secure architecture design and configuration management.
- Familiarity with CI/CD tools and DevOps practices.
